A delemma

Thursday is The Kid's first day of school - Grade 2.

I'm supposed to be working.

Dick got a call to work overtime and has decided to take it. No biggie, says he, the babysitter can take her after school.

But it's her first day of SCHOOL! So many exciting things to tell, things to bring home... I don't want her to go to a babysitter.

But this will be the second time in a row I've "worked from home" and had a meeting with my boss. Jeeze I don't want to push things.

Fuh.

Any suggestions?

But I said I'd do it before I realized I had a meeting. And things like that aren't important to him, he'll fail to see the importance vs. a double-time overtime cheque.

But hold on... I'll call home right now...

uh yeah.

He'll see what he can do tonight when he goes to work.
