Musings - or not
Sep. 1st, 2003 07:26 pmHad a good race today. We were SEVERLY short handed - five people on a boat that takes 8 to sail comfortably. Shane did bow, mast and jib, Carl did mast and runners, Thom was non the helm and touched the runners once, Don (thank god Don was there) did main, jib, spin guy and spin sheet. I did pit, jib and spin guy. And we still ended up fourth, which wasn't bad, all things considered.
I had some really good, deep muisings on the way home that I wanted to write down, and now Jess and the neighbour's child are in the kitchen making enough noise to represent a small, highly urbanized country. The dog is in the mniddle of the rucas and I have to referree too much to be able to put together a complete thought, so all of those great muisings I had are now gone into the ether.
Probably for the best.
