My pants are here!
Jun. 29th, 2004 10:37 pmAnd in the sixth month the Gill Pants were sent from Pride Marine unto a city of Nova Scotia, named Halifax, To a virgin (no laughing!) espoused to a man whose name was Dick, of the house of Dick; and the virgin’s name was Gina. And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, we sent you those pants three weeks ago. Screw-ed art thou among sailors.
And when she heard this, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be. And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Gina: for thou hast found favour with Pride Marine.
And, behold, we shalt gnash our teeth considerably, and bring forth a second pair, and shalt call our store "Generous". We shall be great, and we shall not be called the Son of the Bitches: and the Good people at Pride Marine shall give unto you the pants of the Gill named David.
And so it was, that, while she waited and waited, the days were accomplished that the pants should be delivered.
And she brought forth her own pair of pants, and wrapped them in swaddling plastic, and gave them to a smaller person; because there was no room for her in the pants.
And there were in the same country sailors abiding in the basin, keeping watch over their rum by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Gill Pants came upon them, and the glory of Pride Marine shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is delivered this day in the city of Halifax a pair of pants, which is also known as Gill Southern Cross Bibs.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the pants wrapped in swaddling paper, lying in a brown box.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising Gill and saying, Glory to Gill in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Gill be with you.
I swear, sometimes I just crack myself up.
