Jun. 12th, 2004 10:52 pmNot a stellar race, but we came in third. Short of crew, a couple of "sight seers" on board, a lot of heavy fluky wind and a couple of errors made for a less than textbook day, but there's no such thing as bad sailing. A nice apres-sail wherein I didn't have a curfew but did get to have a couple of drinks. A trip to the yacht club followed by a trip to the captain's house for a bonfire and now home to an empty house.
S'all good, babies.
Note to self: Must NOT attempt to stop a dropping spinnaker under 100 lbs of force (even if it's dropping in error, even if it's YOUR error that caused it to drop) with un-gloved part of your hand.
You'd think I'd have learned that *last* time.
Off to find some ozonol and some ice.
Nighty Night.
