Well that's a little on the annoying side.

I went and had a nice 2 hour long massage in January - it's covered under my health benefits at work - put the cost on my visa and submitted the receipt for payment. Today I get a letter in the mail refusing to pay the bill because they claim I am no longer employed by the company through which I made my claim.

So, the bill still sits on my Visa, and apparently I'm unemployed but my employer has failed to tell me.

Bummer, dude.

I can not believe you are charging up a storm when you don't even have a JOB!

Sheesh!

Sweetie, you would have needed to be unemployed on the date of service, and if my recollection is correct (which it may not be, as senility is creeping up on me slowly but surely), you WERE employed in January.

As I suspect you are employed now.

Have them recheck the goddamned policy number--as I recently told [livejournal.com profile] freyas_fire nine times out of ten these things are somebody's finger hitting the wrong damned key on the keyboard....

I always pray I get an idiot to file my claims and maybe they will not know what they're doing and approve whatever. It's happened a time or two.
